Rob Gronkowski loves 'freedom of being yourself' with Buccaneers

Outspoken and fun-loving Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski is no stranger to Super Bowl Sundays, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, and Tampa Bay coach Bruce Arians.

Gronk won three Super Bowls under Belichick's guidance and was named a First-Team All-Pro on four occasions during his New England tenure. As he prepares to face the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LV on Feb. 7, Gronkowski appeared on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Friday.

“Coming here, it’s a complete 180, for sure, totally different,” Gronkowski said of having Arians as his coach, per JoeBucsFan.com. "I mean, I feel like the biggest difference is just having the freedom of being yourself in this organization."

Gronkowski joined former New England teammate and six-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady with the Bucs, and the 31-year-old added that Brady helps keep everybody focused on the task at hand.

"Every day is championship-level preparation," Gronkowski explained.

Gronkowski's off-the-field activities made few headlines throughout the fall and across the first month of 2021. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that the future Hall of Famer is no longer the player of old, or perhaps it's because he's doing all he can to avoid producing a positive COVID-19 test.

Whatever the case, we're sure Gronk will let loose if he earns his fourth ring at Raymond James Stadium.
