The NFL unveiled its complete 2026 schedule on Thursday. The Chicago Bears will play seven primetime matchups, including a Thanksgiving Day clash with the Detroit Lions. The team will also face the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day.
The Bears face one of the toughest schedules next season, as projected after their 2025 NFC North title. Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze and company have a tough task ahead of them but are expected to give it their all.
Chicago’s opponents boast a combined winning percentage of .550. The Bears face each team in their division in their last three games, ending with a road test in Minnesota. Health will play a key role in the Bears’ hopes of contending for a Super Bowl. Williams and Odunze must be at their best to lead the team to glory.
Odunze took center stage in Chicago’s release video, posted on Instagram. The team cast the wide receiver as iconic TV painter Bob Ross, complete with a wig, palette, and painting board.

“Rome I think you chose the wrong career path,” one posted.
Another fan wrote, “Rome is so multi-talented.”
“Rome is a star!!!” a user said.
“What a goat,” posted another.
“please keep the afro Rome,” requested a supporter.
Odunze appeared in 12 regular-season games last year, recording 44 receptions for 661 yards and six touchdowns. Bears head coach Ben Johnson will rely on him and Williams to set the tone for the team.
In 2025, the Chicago Bears reached the Divisional Round but lost to the Los Angeles Rams in overtime. The Bears have their work cut out for them based on the schedule, but they shouldn’t be counted out. The team possesses the talent and experience to shock the NFL with another strong campaign.
