Alvin Kamara reached 90 career touchdowns Sunday, giving the New Orleans Saints another memorable moment during their 34-27 victory over the New York Giants. The veteran running back reached the milestone with a 31-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter, helping New Orleans take control after a difficult first half.
The touchdown was more than an individual achievement. It also helped the Saints complete their comeback after falling behind 10-0 against New York. Quarterback Tyler Shough connected with Kamara on the scoring play, putting New Orleans ahead early in the second half.
Kamara’s ability to contribute as both a runner and receiver remains an important part of the Saints’ offense. His latest milestone further highlights the impact he has made throughout his career.

Kamara finished the game with two receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown. He also recorded 34 rushing yards on seven carries, giving him 69 total yards from scrimmage against the Giants.
The touchdown came during a decisive stretch for New Orleans. The Saints scored 34 consecutive points after falling behind, building a 34-10 advantage before the Giants mounted a late comeback attempt.
Shough threw three touchdown passes and added a rushing score as New Orleans secured its second win of the season. The Saints also ended a three-game losing streak, giving the team a needed boost heading into Week 7.
Kamara’s milestone also coincided with another significant career achievement. The running back became the sixth player in NFL history to record at least 5,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving yards, joining an exclusive group that includes Marshall Faulk, Marcus Allen, Christian McCaffrey, Tiki Barber and Lenny Moore.
New Orleans will now turn its attention to its upcoming matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris. Kamara’s continued production could prove important as the Saints look to build on Sunday’s victory and improve their position in the NFC South.
