The New Orleans Saints faced the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

They entered with a 1-6 record, their only win coming in Week 5 against the New York Giants.

The Saints' offense was held to just three points on the day, and they ended up losing 23-3.

Spencer Rattler, the team's starting quarterback, was benched in favor of rookie Tyler Shough in the third quarter. Both quarterbacks finished with under 150 yards passing, no touchdowns and one interception.

As for running back Alvin Kamara, he finished with six carries for 21 yards. He also added two receptions for 24 yards.

After the game, the Saints announced a career milestone for Kamara.

"The FIRST player in NFL history to have 600+ catches & 600+ rushes for one team in their career. New Orleans Saint, Alvin Kamara," the Saints' official X account posted.

This milestone comes after weeks of rumors that Kamara's day in a Saints uniform could come to an end.

Kamara is now 30 years old and the Saints are clearly in rebuild mode.

Also, several teams around the NFL, like the Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs, could use a running back to bolster a playoff run.

Kamara was asked about the rumors, and he made it clear he does not want to be traded.

"I’ve been vocal that I don’t want to go anywhere, and I’ve said it countless times, y’all know that, I think everybody knows that, the fan base knows that," Kamara said. "At the end of the day, it’s business."

Kamara also hinted that he would just retire if Saints general manager Mickey Loomis were to trade him.

"If I was a GM, I guess I would go to the player and be like, 'Hey, we’re trading you, just so you know,'" Kamara said. "So if Mickey comes downstairs and says that, I’m going to go drink a piña colada somewhere."

Kamara is a two-time second-team All-Pro, five-time Pro Bowler and the 2017 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
