The New Orleans Saints are finally set to see rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson make his NFL debut.
The Saints selected Tyson with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft after he finished his college career with the Arizona State Sun Devils.
However, Tyson suffered a hamstring injury in August that was expected to sideline him for two months. On Wednesday, some positive news came as Nick Underhill of NOLA reported that Tyson had returned to practice.
The Saints opened Tyson’s practice window, meaning the team has 21 days to activate the rookie WR.
Tyson dealt with plenty of injuries during his college career, including tearing his ACL, MCL and PCL as a freshman while playing for the Colorado Buffaloes.
Tyson then transferred to Arizona State and became a big part of the offense, but he was nursing a hamstring injury during the pre-draft process.
While Tyson is now practicing, his NFL debut is right around the corner. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday that the Saints rookie “could return” for the game against the Cleveland Browns, although it remains to be seen exactly when he will make his debut.
