The New Orleans Saints may be without running back Alvin Kamara for a good chunk of the 2022 season, after the five-time Pro Bowler was arrested earlier this year for alleged battery. It was reported in June that Kamara is " bracing" for a six-game suspension.
On Tuesday morning, Nick Underhill reported that the Saints may be looking towards the USFL for a possible replacement in the backfield.
The Saints intend to work out RB Darius Victor, per source. He was with Saints before and was the USFL offensive MVP

Victor spent last season with the New Jersey Generals and led the USFL in rushing touchdowns with nine. The 28-year-old racked up 577 rushing yards on 127 carries as well.
A product of Towson University, Victor went undrafted in 2017 and spent time with New Orleans later that year in training camp.
