The New Orleans Saints introduced a new look on Tuesday.
The Saints have unveiled a new alternate "gamedays" gold throwback jersey via Twitter/X. The new alternate jerseys have been revealed just two weeks after New Orleans unveiled an alternate all-white helmet they will pair with their color rush uniforms.

The new gold jerseys will be paired with the team's alternate black helmet, which was revealed in 2022, and all-black pants. Many were curious if the Saints were to move on from the black helmet after they unveiled their new white alternate helmets in early July, but the team ultimately decided to pair it with their new alternates.
The gold jerseys aren't a big surprise, as defensive end Cameron Jordan has advocated that New Orleans bring it back for years. While there was an expectation that the Saints would bring back the gold alternates, the team's use of throwback attire and recent tweets hinting at throwback uniforms would be a curveball for some fans.

Now that the Saints' new look is revealed, NFL rules will allow them to wear these three times during the 2025 season. While New Orleans has yet to reveal what matchups they'll bust out either of their alternates, it feels safe to speculate they'll wear them in at least one of their NFC South rivalry games.
The jerseys have received a lot of engagement online since they were unveiled, with the overwhelming reactions being positive. The Saints have always been considered to have some of the best uniforms in the league with their slick black and golds, but their new additions to the uniform race have only added to their collection.
