History was made on Monday night in our nation’s capital. One of the most impressive streaks in all of football came to an end as the Baltimore Ravens saw their 24-game winning streak in the preseason come to an end. The Washington Commanders hit a game-deciding field goal with just seconds remaining.

Not everyone was too impressed with Baltimore’s streak, though. Commanders offensive tackle Sam Cosmi called the record “stupid” and called his shot before the game. Washington was going to wind up on the winning end and boy, was he right.

“I think it’s a stupid record,” Cosmi said. “I mean, who gives a sh*t about preseason games? If we beat it, great. We’re going to beat it. So, there you go.”
