Sam Ponder no longer works for ESPN but her thoughts are with one of her former colleagues this week.

Ponder, 39, had several roles at ESPN before becoming the host of Sunday NFL Countdown in 2017. She was laid off by the network last August in what was called a "budget move." Her position on Sunday NFL Countdown was filled by longtime broadcaster Mike Greenberg.

Despite her departure from ESPN, Ponder is still keeping up with her former co-workers. On Tuesday night, she extended her thoughts to First Take moderator Molly Qerim.

Qerim revealed that she's been diagnosed with endometriosis. Since March is considered Endometriosis Awareness Month, the popular ESPN host shed some light on her personal journey.

"March is Endometriosis Awareness Month. I really hesitated on posting this, b/c I’m a very private person…but if I can help even 1 person…it’s worth it," Qerim wrote on Instagram. "Dr Kanayama, you are an answer to 12 years of prayer. THANK YOU. You are a miracle in my life, and more miracles to come.

"And for anyone dealing with a health scare right now, please don’t give up…keep advocating for yourself and know you can be fully restored, regardless of what the medical report says. Better days are ahead."

Several people commented on Qerim's post, including Ponder. She wrote, "Yes and amen. Love you."

The World Health Organization describes endometriosis as "a disease in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. It can cause severe pain in the pelvis and make it harder to get pregnant."

We're wishing Qerim all the best as in her private health battle.
