Sauce Gardner just got paid big money.

The former Cincinnati football star inked a new four-year, $120.4 million extension with the New York Jets this week to tack onto his four-year rookie contract, tying to New York through the 2030 season. It makes him the NFL’s highest-paid cornerback at $30.1 million per year. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero first reported the news.

Gardner is the highest draft pick in Cincinnati football history, going fourth overall to New York in 2021. He went on to win AP Defensive Rookie of the Year and has been a shutdown cornerback this whole decade.

He boasts three interceptions and 41 pass breakups in his career, with another long stint in New York now on the table.
