The Seattle Seahawks have had an incredible 2025 NFL season. Seattle went 14-3 in the regular season, finishing first in the NFC, ahead of the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers. This win total marked the Seahawks' highest in the team's 50-year history.

With their impressive regular season, the Seahawks clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff bracket, as they blew out the 49ers 41-6 in the divisional round and took down the Rams 31-27 in the NFC Championship to advance to their first Super Bowl since 2014.

Super Bowl LX will be Seattle's fourth Super Bowl appearance in history, as it will be looking to claim its second Vince Lombardi Trophy ever.

One of the biggest reasons for the Seahawks' success this season has been the play of their offense, especially quarterback Sam Darnold and wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

In two playoff games so far, Darnold has completed 69.8% of his passes for 470 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions. As for Smith-Njigba, he's caught 13 passes over the two games for 172 yards and two scores.

When the Seahawks take on the AFC champion New England Patriots on Sunday in the Super Bowl, Darnold and Seattle will be without one offensive lineman. On Tuesday, the Seahawks announced that rookie offensive tackle Amari Kight was placed on injured reserve.

Kight, who played his collegiate football with the UCF Knights, made four appearances during his rookie year, with his latest one coming in the divisional round against the 49ers.

While Kight was moved off the active roster and onto the IR, Seattle filled his spot with linebacker Chazz Surratt, who has been a key special teams player for the Seahawks this season.

Super Bowl LX between the Seahawks and Patriots is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The game can be seen on NBC and Peacock.
