The Los Angeles Rams saw veteran wide receiver Cooper Kupp head to their division rival Seattle Seahawks. LA was ready to move on from him, but there was not a lack of interest in finding his replacement during free agency.
Sean McVay and the Rams tried to do exactly that when they added WR Davante Adams. Adams steps into a starting role alongside Puka Nacua, and it is easy to be excited about his potential with McVay's coaching.
The head coach is certainly amped about adding Adams to his offensive unit.
McVay had a piece of tape review for the whole offense to watch, centered around Adams. He received applause from his new teammates, and McVay was clearly impressed by the former Pro Bowl wideout.

Matthew Stafford was a focus in the video, too. That feels notable. He's back as the Rams quarterback, and his reactions to Adams' plays were like a kid in a candy store. There is no doubt he's ready to throw the ball to Adams early and often for Los Angeles.
It will be intriguing to see what sort of production Adams puts up in the Rams offense going forward. They've seen multiple receivers produce annually when you consider Nacua and Kupp recently.
You can even think back to the days of Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt from the Rams' days in St. Louis as well. There has been a precedent with this team of having success with multiple guys stepping up in that room.
Do not be shocked if Adams is the addition that creates another dynamic duo for McVay's offense. This moment between he and his new coach was awesome to see.
