Should Bills Listen to Cowboys' Dalvin Cook Contract Message?
© Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills won their seventh-straight game to clinch the AFC East on Sunday night, defeating the San Francisco 49ers, 35-10.

The Bills had plenty of massive performances come from their offense, including running back James Cook. He finished with 107 rushing yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, including a 65-yard touchdown in the second quarter to put the Bills up by double-digits.

Cook is currently tied for third in the NFL with 11 rushing touchdowns, and is on-pace to finish with 16 touchdowns and close to 1,000 rushing yards.

In his third season, the second-round pick has just one more year left on his contract before he becomes an unrestricted free agent. If he continues to perform like he did on Sunday, he will likely earn a big contract in the coming years.

Cook's performance certainly didn't go unnoticed by his brother, Dallas Cowboys running back Dalvin Cook, who took to social media to send a simple message to the Bills.

"Pay the man," said Cook.

The Cowboys' Pro Bowl running back is obviously a bit biased considering he's speaking about his brother, but Cook's clutch performances over the last two seasons also speak for themselves.

The Bills' offense has scored at least 30 points in six of their last seven wins. Cook has also reached the end zone in five of those games (he was inactive against the New York Jets). Buffalo has a strong chance of hosting multiple playoff games if they continue to win, and if the cold weather continues on into January, Cook will become a massive weapon for Buffalo's offense.
