Staggering Nick Sirianni-Jalen Hurts stat shows Eagles will win vs. Vikings

It's rare to see the Philadelphia Eagles lose back-to-back games, thanks to the past success that head coach Nick Sirianni and quarterback Jalen Hurts have had. That's why there is a lot of confidence that the Eagles will bounce back against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7 and pick up a win.

Last week was a pretty miserable week for the Eagles. They started the week with a 21-17 loss to the Denver Broncos. Philly then traveled up north to New Jersey just four days later, suffering a 34-17 loss to the New York Giants. They went from being 4-0 to two straight losses and no longer the best team in the NFL or NFC.

Entering Week 7, the Eagles must find a way to win against the Vikings to avoid a similar disaster to their 2023 season, when they lost six of their seven games, including their NFC Wild Card loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There is one stat line the Eagles fans can rely on with confidence that the Birds can get things right.

One thing the Eagles are good at is finding wins

94 WIP Eagles reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks took to social media to share an interesting tidbit on how the Eagles do when faced with this kind of situation.

"Since losing to Las Vegas in Week 7 of the 2021 season the duo of Sirianni and Hurts have lost back-to-back games only 4 times in 61 regular season games

Three of those times came in the same stretch in 2023 during The Collapse

Seeing them lose two straight is very rare"

It may not be much, but it's incredibly rare to see the Eagles lose back-to-back games. They are in the situation, and typically, they are able to get through it successfully.

There's no doubt the cards are stacked against them, with many in the media, like Dianna Russini, going out of their way to share stories that break apart the franchise, such as A.J. Brown being traded. The team has had its struggles with Kevin Patullo as offensive coordinator and what some players on the team have called "predictable" play calling.

A lot of bad has happened with the Eagles this past week, but a chance to rest over the mini bye week should put them in a position to play better against the Vikings in Week 7.
