The Pittsburgh Steelers came up just short of taking down the Chicago Bears in Week 12, losing 31-28 without starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the lineup.
Rodgers, 41, fractured his left wrist in the team's 34-12 win against the Cincinnati Bengals the week prior when he landed awkwardly on his arm after being hit while throwing the ball away. In his absence, the Steelers started long-time backup Mason Rudolph, who completed 24-of-31 passes for 171 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
While the Steelers are confident in Rudolph, who has been with the team in five of his six NFL seasons, there were hopes that Rodgers could make his return on Sunday.
With the Steelers having a prime opportunity in the AFC North to create separation with the Baltimore Ravens , head coach Mike Tomlin told the media on Friday that Rodgers will be good to go.
"He was a full participant today with no designation for the game so it's all systems go," Tomlin said.

The Ravens fell to 6-6 on Thursday following a 32-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, which works in favor of the Steelers, who sit atop the division.
Tomlin also confirmed that linebacker Alex Highsmith and wide receiver DK Metcalf will be available for the AFC clash.
Rodgers and the Steelers will face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills (7-4) on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
