There were a lot of question marks going into the season about the Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback situation, so the team drafted Ohio State's Will Howard in the 2025 NFL Draft.

But they also ended up getting the veteran QB that many thought they would in free agency.

Aaron Rodgers recently announced that he would be signing with the team, and Howard was among those that were grateful. In a recent interview with Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the young QB talked a bit about the interactions he has already had with Rodgers.

"He’s been so awesome to me so far," Howard said. "I think we already in this past week meshed really well, hit it off... He’s like, ‘Literally, as much or as little as you want me to help you, I’ll be there.’ He’s already given me tips, little things here and there... Obviously I can’t do the things that he can do mechanically... But, for the most part, everything I can learn from that guy is invaluable. So I’m like as much as you want to pour into me."

Rodgers has been in the NFL for two decades now, so it is safe to say that he knows a thing or two about what it takes to make it in this league.

As for Howard, he could be a candidate to be the quarterback of the future for the Steelers, so learning from Rodgers might be in his best interests if he eventually wants to take the starting job.

The contract that the 41-year-old field general signed was for one year, so it could sooner rather than later that Howard gets that opportunity that he is looking for.
