Stefon Diggs Raves About Commanders WR Antonio Williams

The Washington Commanders just signed star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to a one year deal worth up to $12 million for the 2026-27 season. Diggs has already made a great impression for the Commanders team, and he immediately slots in alongside Terry McLaurin to create a great wide receiving duo for Washington. On top of him as a player comes his leadership and his reputation as a true superstar.

When players like Diggs talk, people should listen, and he made a point about their rookie Antonio Williams. "14 can hoop a little bit... Young guys don’t get a name in the beginning. You just call them by their number. He can hoop a little bit... He's got some game." - Diggs.

This is a player who came out of college at Clemson as an elite route running, and a super agile slot receiver with potential, and given Diggs's immediate praise of Williams bodes well for a potential role for the Commanders. This is a team that needed to surround quarterback Jayden Daniels with talent outside of just Terry McLaurin, and if Williams can develop into a quality receiver, then the Commanders have something working with this weapons room.
