One of the most anticipated matchups of the year takes place on Sunday Night Football, and you can bet everyone who cares even a little bit about football will be tuned in for this one. Micah Parsons and the 2-1 Green Bay Packers travel to Dallas to face his old team in front of a national audience. This game is one of the most anticipated revenge games in recent memory, and you can make quite a bit of money by making the right choices.

Sunday Night Football: Packers-Cowboys Predictions, Spreads, Prop Bets

Green Bay Packers (-6.5) vs Dallas Cowboys
Over/Under: 48.5 points

Last week’s loss to the Cleveland Browns proved that anything can happen on any given Sunday, and that even the worst NFL team is loaded with elite talent. With that disclaimer out of the way, the Packers had a bad game, and their season should stabilize as we move forward. Despite the unfortunate loss, this team still has an elite roster and one of the game’s best head coaches in Matt LaFleur.

The Cowboys, meanwhile, have Dak Prescott and basically nobody else. Prescott and Jordan Love are in the same tier of quarterbacks, but the lackluster Dallas roster should make this a one-sided affair. The Cowboys had a weak defense even when Micah Parsons was on the team, but they can’t seem to stop anyone without him. With all of Love’s weapons at his disposal, it’s hard to envision Dallas putting it together in Week 4.

If the Cowboys had superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, they might be able to go blow-for-blow with the Packers offense. However, the star wide receiver will almost certainly miss the contest with an ankle injury. George Pickens is a solid starter, but he’s not good enough to carry an entire passing attack on his own. Despite the hype, this will probably be a one-sided affair.

Prediction: Packers win, cover spread
Over/Under: OVER

Best Prop Bets

Jordan Love: OVER 226.5 Passing Yards

This is one of the easiest prop bets on the slate and one that should easily pay off on Sunday Night Football. As mentioned above, the Dallas Cowboys have a terrible defense. The team cannot get after the quarterback, and they lack the secondary depth to cover all of Green Bay’s reliable receivers. Jordan Love should have more than enough time to connect with his downfield threats and comfortably eclipse this threshold.

George Pickens: OVER 58.5 Receiving Yards

For better or worse, the Cowboys passing attack will run through the hands of George Pickens. Even in the unlikely event CeeDee Lamb suits up for Week 4, he won’t be anywhere close to full strength. Prescott loves targeting his top receiver, and Pickens should see more than enough opportunities to reach at least 60 yards in what should be a high-scoring affair.

Matthew Golden: UNDER 45.5 Receiving Yards

The Packers have one of the deepest wide receiver rooms in the league, which means first-round pick Matthew Golden probably won’t receive enough touches to reach the over on this prop bet. While he finished Week 3 with 52 receiving yards, he only had four targets. Given such a small volume, you can’t bet on him to eclipse his posted stat line.
