Now in his 11th season with the Chiefs and 25th as an NFL head coach, Reid is appearing in his fifth Super Bowl and is trying to win his third ring. The 65-year-old head coach is the playcaller for the Chief's offense and is well on his way to being enshrined in the Hall of Fame.
Shanahan is in his seventh season as 49ers head coach and his second Super Bowl. He is the mastermind of the 49ers offense and its playcaller. Shanahan is also the son of former Broncos Super Bowl-winning head coach Mike Shanahan.
Nagy is in his first season as Chiefs offensive coordinator after a previous stint in 2017. He previously served as the Bears head coach for four seasons.
Wilks has a history as an NFL coach, including head coach of the Cardinals in 2018 and interim head coach of the Panthers in 2022. He's in his first season as the 49ers defensive coordinator.
Spagnuolo is trying to win his fourth ring as a defensive coordinator and third with the Chiefs. He famously led the Giants' defense to an upset victory over the undefeated Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, later becoming the head coach of the Rams for three seasons.
The final pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Purdy has emerged as a terrific starter for the 49ers since he was promoted last season. He is 17-4 in the regular season as a starter, and his only loss in the playoffs was last year's NFC Championship, when he was removed early in the game due to injury.
Mahomes has earned nearly every accolade possible in his brief seven-year career with the Chiefs. He's now appearing in his fourth Super Bowl and is trying to win his third ring with the Chiefs.
McCaffrey was an All-Pro this season after leading the NFL in rushing, yards from scrimmage, and touchdowns. The seventh-year pro is the son of former NFL wide receiver Ed McCaffrey.

Williams is still going strong in his mid-30s, making his 11th Pro Bowl and third consecutive All-Pro. He's considered by many to be the best offensive lineman in football.
Now in his second season, Karlaftis recorded 10.5 sacks and has added 2.5 more sacks during the playoffs. He will play a vital role for the Chiefs with Charles Omenihu sidelined.
Bosa was the 2022 Defensive Player of the Year, and had another Pro Bowl season in 2023 with 10.5 sacks. He's the younger brother of Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa.
Jones made his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl this season after recording 10.5 sacks in 16 games. The Chiefs defensive star could be approaching his final game with the team as a pending free agent.

Warner is arguably the game's top linebacker, making All-Pro for the third time this year. He recorded 132 tackles and 2.5 sacks during the regular season.
Gay is a vital part of the defense at linebacker for the Chiefs, but he missed the AFC Championship due to a neck injury. He's expected to return for the Super Bowl.

Now in his second season, McDuffie has become a shutdown cornerback for the Chiefs and was named All-Pro. He had 80 tackles and five forced fumbles during the regular season.
Thomas is seeing significant work for the 49ers after emerging as a starter in November. He could hear his number called often as the Chiefs could try to stay away from Charvarius Ward.
Reid is in his second season with the Chiefs after four years with the Texans. He had a career-high 95 tackles and three sacks during the regular season.
The veteran Gipson is in his 12th NFL season and second with the 49ers. He recorded 60 tackles and one interception during the regular season.
Butker had an excellent rebound season for the Chiefs, making 33 of 35 field goals and all 38 of his extra points during the regular season. He also has a history of coming up clutch in the playoffs.
Moody had an excellent regular season as a third-round rookie for the 49ers, making 21 of 25 field goal attempts and 60-of-61 extra points. However, Moody has already missed two field goal attempts during the playoffs.
