Surprising Chiefs player crashes NFL’s merch sales top 50

The NFLPA has released the Top 50 Players Sales list, which keeps tabs on all merchandise sold for NFL players. Three members of the Kansas City Chiefs made the cut and no one would be surprised to hear that Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are in that group. Mahomes came in at number two while Kelce is 11th on the list. This both is and isn't surprising. It could be considered surprising because Mahomes and Kelce have been doing their thing in the league for quite some time now and it feels like anyone who had their jersey would have bought one already. At the same time, these are two of the most popular and well-known players in the NFL so seeing them in the top 10 (or just outside of it in Kelce's case) makes sense. If Chiefs fans were told that three players appeared on the list and were to try and guess the third player, Chris Jones would probably be the popular answer.
