The Houston Texans are one step closer to kicking off the 2025 NFL regular season after the league announced training camp report dates for all 32 teams on Wednesday.
Both Texans rookies and veterans will report to the Houston Methodist Training Center on July 22 as the team prepares for DeMeco Ryans’ third year as head coach. While the full camp practice schedule is yet to be released, the Texans confirmed they will host the Carolina Panthers for a joint practice in Houston on August 14, ahead of their preseason matchup at NRG Stadium on August 16. Houston will also travel to Allen Park, Michigan, for a joint practice with the Detroit Lions on August 21 before their preseason game at Ford Field.
Training camp marks the final stretch before Week 1, as the Texans aim for a third consecutive division title behind Pro Bowl quarterback C.J. Stroud and a defense expected to rank among the league’s best1. Details regarding open practices and ticket information will be announced as the team prepares for its season opener against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium.
