The Pittsburgh Steelers are entering the 2026 NFL season as one of the bigger mysteries in the NFL.
The Steelers have been mired in mediocrity over the past several seasons, not truly contending but also not tanking. But with Mike McCarthy replacing Mike Tomlin to become the first new Steelers head coach since 2007 and reuniting with quarterback Aaron Rodgers for his farewell tour, they’ll certainly hope to make noise in a crowded AFC.
The Steelers snuck into the playoffs last season thanks in part to a missed field goal in Week 18 from Ravens kicker Tyler Loop, but they looked toothless against the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round, losing 30-6 and generating just 175 yards of total offense.
With the (albeit distant) history of offensive success between McCarthy and Rodgers in Green Bay – which resulted in a Super Bowl title over the Steelers in Super Bowl XLV – Pittsburgh will hope to recapture that magic one last time.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Aaron Rodgers famously spent the first three seasons of his career on the bench behind Hall of Famer Brett Favre before making his first start for the Green Bay Packers in Week 1 of 2008. With that being said, how many of the QB1s to start the 2008 NFL season can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
