The '200-rushing-yard NFL games' quiz

The Carolina Panthers entered Week 5 with a 1-3 record and desperately needed to change the mood around their season following a 42-13 loss to the New England Patriots.

After falling into a 17-0 hole, they were able to do just that, thanks largely to the legs of running back Rico Dowdle. Dowdle got the start against a beleaguered Miami defense with Chuba Hubbard out with an injury and took full advantage of his opportunity, racking up 206 rushing yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.

The Panthers have struggled to find consistency once again in 2025, but are 2-0 at home ahead of their Week 6 clash with the Dallas Cowboys – Dowdle’s former team – at Bank of America Stadium.

“They got to buckle up,” said Dowdle of Dallas.

“I think they know. They didn’t keep me there for five years for no reason.”

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Dowdle became the 89th player in the NFL’s Super Bowl Era (since 1966) to rush for 200-yards in a single game. How many of those players can you name in 12 minutes?

Good luck!
