When the Chicago Bears take the field for ‘Monday Night Football,’ they’re going to do so with a very powerful new weapon in defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons.

The Bears sent a haul to Tennessee for the former first-round NFL Draft pick in an attempt to turn their exciting squad into bonafide Super Bowl contenders. Heading into his first game as a Bear, Simmons led all defensive tackles in both sacks (4) and quarterback pressures (22) and is joining a team that already ranks third in the NFL in QB pressure rate at 28 percent.

Simmons could find himself lining up against another high-profile trade acquisition in Quenton Nelson on the Seahawks offensive line as they take on the defending Super Bowl champions.
