Happy 34th birthday to three-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro and 2017-18 rushing attempts leader, Le’Veon Bell!
The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Bell out of Michigan State in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft, and during his five times in the Steel City, he was one of the most dynamic backs in the NFL. His patient running and good hands out of the backfield made him a dynamic dual-threat in the “Killer Bees,” Steelers offense that featured him, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wide receiver Antonio Brown.
After establishing himself as one of the best running backs in the NFL, he had a very quick drop-off. He sat out the entire 2018-19 season in a contract dispute with the Steelers, and joined the New York Jets ahead of 2019-20. He’d play for the Jets, Chiefs, Ravens and Buccaneers over the next couple of seasons, and hasn't played a snap since 2021.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the NFL players with more than 2,000-scrimmage-yards in a single season can you name in seven minutes?
Good luck!
