The '35-passing-TD NFL seasons' quiz

The last time the Seattle Seahawks played the Los Angeles Rams, they lost by just two points in a 21-19 contest despite four interceptions from quarterback Sam Darnold. They meet again in a pivotal ‘Thursday Night Football,’ clash, with the division-rivals locked at 11-3 for first-place in the AFC West up for grabs.

Despite the Sam Darnold that was “seeing ghosts,” with the New York Jets reemerging in that Week 11 matchup, the eight-year veteran has been a worthy investment for the Seahawks so far in 2025. Darnold has followed up his career-best 4,319 yards and 35 touchdowns in with the Vikings last season with a slightly more modest 3,433 yards and 22 touchdowns through 14 games, while last year’s starter Geno Smith has struggled mightily with the Raiders.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. A NFL QB has thrown at least 35 touchdowns in a season on 65 occasions. How many of the quarterbacks to reach that milestone can you name in six minutes?

Good luck!
