The '35-passing TD NFL seasons' quiz

After the 2024 season, the Detroit Lions lost to the upstart Washington Commanders as the top-seed in the NFC playoffs, head coach Dan Campbell acknowledged that the group wasn’t guaranteed to get back to that position. 

Those words proved prophetic in 2025, with the Lions going just 9-8 and missing the postseason entirely despite a third-straight 4,500-yard, 30-TD season from quarterback Jared Goff.

Drafted first-overall by the Rams in 2016 out of Cal, Goff was a piece in one of the better win-win trades in NFL history when he was sent to Detroit for Matthew Stafford. The Rams got their Super Bowl out of the deal, and the Lions have turned into contenders with Goff and Campbell.  

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Goff posted a career-high 37 touchdowns in 2024 to go with his 4,629 yards. With that being said, how many of the NFL quarterbacks to throw at least 35 touchdowns in a single season can you name in six minutes?
