Week 9 of the 2026 NFL season is shaping up to be the week of the backup quarterbacks.

With Carson Wentz set to start for Kyler Murray this week against the Bills on ‘Monday Night Football,’ at least five teams will have a different quarterback under center from who they tabbed as their Week 1 starter (excluding the Falcons, who started the season without expected-starter Michael Penix Jr.) this week.

Wentz has made one start so far for the 6-1 Minnesota Vikings, but has helped lead them to two wins in the NFC North. He came in for the injured Kyler Murray after he took a scary hit in Week 1 to lead the Vikings to a 39-22 win over Green Bay with three touchdown passes before managing a 9-3 win in Week 2 over Chicago.

While it’s never ideal to be without your starting quarterback, the Vikings offense wasn’t exactly why they’re 6-1 heading into Week 9. Minnesota hasn’t scored more than 23 points since their 39-point explosion in Week 1.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. When Wentz takes the field for the Vikings on Monday Night, he’ll be making his 101st NFL start. With that being said, can you name the active NFL quarterbacks to start the most games?
