The '35+ passing touchdown seasons by NFL QBs' quiz

Los Angeles Chargers starting quarterback Justin Herbert hasn’t played in a preseason game during any of his first five preseasons. But that looks set to change for the team’s exhibition against the Rams, and it was apparently his idea. 

“Hey, would it be okay if you know, I went in and played,” he reportedly asked head coach Jim Harbaugh earlier this week. 

It’s been just over seven months since Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers disastrous Wild Card loss to the Houston Texans in the 2024-25 NFL playoffs. Herbert threw four interceptions (one more than he threw the entire regular season) to just one TD and the Chargers fell 32-12. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Despite the poor finish to the season, Herbert still led the Chargers to an 11-5 record with 3,870 yards and 23 touchdowns. An NFL quarterback has thrown for 35 or more touchdowns in a single-season on 64 occasions. How many of those players can you name in six minutes?
