The NFL’s Week 10 slate of games started with a 10-7 game between the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders and ended with another 10-7 finish between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers. As they’ve done often over the past couple of seasons, the Eagles came up with a few timely big plays in an otherwise ugly contest to escape with a win on ‘Monday Night Football.’
This time it was newcomer Jalen Phillips on defense, who recorded six tackles and a fumble recovery in his Philly debut and wide receiver DeVonta Smith on offense, who hauled in a 36-yard pass from Jalen Hurts to give the Eagles a 10-0 lead in the fourth quarter. After the game, Smith talked about his ability to make contested catches like his TD on Monday.
“I think part of it is growing up playing basketball. I was an above-the-rim guy, so I feel like that helped me a little bit,” he said after the win.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Despite the lackluster overall passing-game numbers for Philadelphia, Smith has at least 69 receiving yards in each of his last three games and is on pace for his third-career 1,000-yard season. With that being said, can you name the active NFL receivers to hit the 1,000-receiving-yard milestone multiple times?
Good luck!
