The 'Active NFL game-winning drives' quiz

Despite the Indianapolis Colts using the transition tag on quarterback Daniel Jones, the front office in Indy made it clear they wanted to get a multi-year deal done. Now, days after giving wide receiver Alec Pierce a massive contract, they’ve got the Jones deal done as well.

The Colts and Jones agreed to a two-year, $88 million contract after the former fourth-overall draft pick played at a high level for much of last season before injuring his fibula in Week 12 and then tearing his achilles in Week 14. Jones had 3,101 passing yards and 19 touchdowns to go with 164 yards and five TDs on the ground before the sudden end to his season, and had led the Colts to an 8-2 start before being derailed by injuries.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jones is expected to be ready to go for Colts training camp this summer.
