The 'Fewest completions in a win by team' quiz

In Week 7, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback set a franchise record by throwing for just 64 yards in their 43-13 win over the Carolina Panthers. This week, in absolutely miserable conditions at Raymond James Stadium, he did something even more remarkable by “leading” Tampa to a victory without completing a single pass. 

Bucky Irving and Kenny Gainwell combined for 310 yards on 52 carries while the Tampa defense picked off Michael Penix Jr. four times to get the Bucs firmly back in the NFC South race. 

Mayfield returned last week to play through an injury to his throwing thumb, and while he’s thrown just 14 times over the past two games, the Bucs have won by a combined 59-13 following their 16-0 defeat of the Falcons.
