The Indianapolis Colts are just days away from their 2025 season opener . The team is set to host the Miami Dolphins in Week One and has been on the practice field the last two days, preparing for the matchup.

Every member of the Colts' 53-man roster participated in some capacity during Wednesday's practice. They retook the field on Thursday, and thankfully, the team’s positive injury news continued.

Colts Week 1 Thursday injury report

  • Tyler Goodson, RB: Limited Participant

For the second straight practice, the Colts had every single member of their 53-man roster participating on the field. The only player landing on the injury report is RB Tyler Goodson. Goodson, when healthy, will compete with rookie DJ Giddens to be Jonathan Taylor's primary backup. As well as having a key role on special teams. The Colts have one more practice session tomorrow, and as long as all goes well, the team is on pace to not have any player ruled out for Week One. A luxury their opponent is unlikely to have by the looks of their injury report.

The Dolphins' injury report added even more players to an already lengthy injury report list. Star players such as RB De'Von Achane, WR Tyreek Hill, and offensive tackle Austin Jackson were joined by starting center James Daniels and CB Elijah Campbell. Achane and Hill both remain limited participants in practice, but head coach Mike McDaniel seems optimistic that both will play. Something to monitor, though, is the Dolphins having two starting offensive linemen on the injury report, and even if they can play, they won't be at 100% health for the season opener. And with Tua Tagovailoa’s up-and-down health being detrimental to the Dolphins' seasons in years past, this is a less-than-ideal problem for the Dolphins to be dealing with before the season even begins.
