The Kelce Brothers Seemed To Have A Favorite Super Bowl 59 Commercial

The Super Bowl didn't go the way Travis Kelce and his brother Jason may have wanted, as Travis' Kansas City Chiefs were embarrassed by his brother's former team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite the crushing loss to end the season, Travis was a good sport and appeared on this week's episode of the "New Heights" podcast, as he would have on any other week where he didn't lose the Super Bowl.

The Kelce brothers took the opportunity to praise one company for their Super Bowl ad, and shouted out a friend of the show in the process.

"There was a Nike ad, it was [their] first Super Bowl ad in 27 years, and featured a load of female athletes including — I mean, one of the biggest episodes we've ever done — in Caitlin Clark," said the retired Jason Kelce.

"I love Nike commercials. I've been a huge fan of Caitlin Clark since she has been in college... [the commercial is] speaking of all the things they can women can't do," Travis said, agreeing with his brother's positive assessment of the ad.

"If there's one thing I can firmly get on board with, it's telling a bunch of people who think you can't do something to shove it. I'm all on board with that, that's a great message by Nike," Jason said.

"Nike, thank you for such a powerful message on the biggest stage," Travis, a longtime Nike athlete, said.

"You know, everybody watches those Super Bowl commercials to see what messages are sent, and Nike sent one of the best ones of this year. And shout out to Caitlin!"

Clark starred in the ad with other top female athletes like Olympians Sha'Carri Richardson and Jordan Chiles, as well as fellow WNBA stars in A'ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu.

The ad challenges many of the criticisms that female athletes face, and it empowers them to chase their goals regardless of the outside noise.

The Kelce brothers have been longtime supporters of women's sports, and their appreciation for Nike's most recent Super Bowl ad is no different.

As the new WNBA season begins in a matter of months, we'll see how Nike continues its commitment to promoting the biggest names in women's sports - just as they do for men.
