While it was the status of wide receiver Malik Nabers that had New York Giants fans nervous before their ‘Sunday Night Football,’ clash with the Dallas Cowboys, it was another pass-catcher that snagged the headlines after their 28-20 win.
Tight end Isaiah Likely (who followed head coach John Harbaugh to New York from Baltimore) caught all eight of his targets for 78 yards and two touchdowns from quarterback Jaxson Dart, scoring the last touchdown of the first half and capping off an eight-minute drive out of the halftime break with another to put New York up 21-7.
Likely has spent the past few seasons in the shadow of Mark Andrews in Baltimore, but now he’s seizing on a chance to establish himself as a focal point of a young offense. He’s already doubled his touchdown total from 2025, and the 78 yards were the fifth-highest in a game in his career.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Likely was one of seven players to catch multiple touchdowns in Week 1 of the 2026 season. With that being said, can you name the last player to catch at least two touchdowns in one game for each NFL franchise?
Good luck!
