The latest (ice cream) scoop on Johnny, the Jets' kid reporter

Remember Johnny, the Jets' kid reporter who gets taken out for ice cream by his dad after every Jets victory?

After New York's 20-17 win over the Bills on Sunday, Johnny wasted no time. He got straight to the pint. Instead of his normal scoop, though, Johnny got a whole ice cream cake.

Here's the, ah, scoop on the the Jets' win: The defense proved it's one of the league's best, holding Josh Allen without a passing touchdown for the first time all season. He was also sacked five times, the most since a 2020 game against the Seahawks, and for the second time this season, the Bills were held under 20 points.

Jets QB Zach Wilson had a bounce-back week after a dreadful game the previous week against the Patriots. He went 18-for-25 for 154 yards and one touchdown.

Wilson lost a fumble, but he didn't force throws inside or outside of the pocket. He had three interceptions the previous week against the Patriots.

Johnny and the Jets proved they could have their (ice cream) cake and eat it, too.

Or something like that.
