The Buffalo Bills are expecting big things out of second-year receiver Keon Coleman heading into the 2025 NFL season. All reports from camp have indicated that he's poised to do just that. He's been asserting himself in this offense and proving that he can be a reliable weapon for Josh Allen. Bills tackle Dion Dawkins agrees, sharing that he thinks the league isn't ready for what's to come.
"The league better get ready."

Whenever a camera is in front of Dawkins, it's going to be a good time. His larger-than-life personality is one of the many reasons that the Bills Mafia adores him. That, and he's been one of the very best to play at his position across the entire NFL. So much so that the NFL adopted an award after a heavy push from Dawkins: the Protector of the Year award.
While the regular season hasn't begun, Dawkins is still finding a way to protect and support his guys.
"I'm going to tell you the truth, it's night and day ... or a sunny day in a storm, if you want to put it in anyway. Keon is not the same player as last year. He's not the same guy. As a teammate, I am so glad that he picked it up so early cause he is not the same player."
Culture matters in Buffalo, and the talented offensive lineman expressed that Coleman has excelled not only on the field but also by being a great teammate. Tuning into HBO's "Hard Knocks," it's clear to see that this organization is treated more like a family at times. It's an incredibly tight unit all around.
"I'm just glad that Josh has him as well as the Buffalo Bills because Keon has shown up in every bit of where we needed him to show up at. From training camp, to being on time, to checking into dinner, to checking into lunch, being available. He's been a fully changed Keon."
Dawkins doubled down and made sure to drive the point home: Coleman is going to be a different player in 2025.
"I'm happy to be his teammate and for him to just keep learning because he's going to be special. He already is. This is Keon's time. You'll see it."
The second-year receiver had some rookie struggles during his 2024 campaign, but showed flashes throughout the season that hinted that Buffalo may have found something special. During the 2024 season, Coleman played in 13 games with 29 receptions for 556 yards and four touchdowns.
Stepping into year two, Coleman and Allen's connection has been the talk of camp. After a joint practice against the Bears, where the receiver had the play of the day, he made it clear that he's ready for what's to come. Offering, "let's make it unguardable," when discussing his and Allen's connection on the football field. Dawkins is a believer, and so is the fan base.
Keon Coleman had the play of the day for the #Bills offensively on a great route to catch a deep ball touchdown from Josh Allen.

With the regular season rapidly approaching, we won't have to wait long to see the fruits of Coleman's labors. Or, if the preseason hype has been just that, hype.
