The 'Most NFL field goals' quiz

Adam Vinatieri is a four-time Super Bowl champion, three-time Pro Bowler and the all-time leading scorer in NFL history. 

Now, he’s going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. 

Vinatieri played in 24 NFL seasons, kicking for two of the greatest quarterbacks of all time in Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. His career began with the New England Patriots in 1996, spending the first decade of his career there. He became famous for his game-winning field goal as time expired in Super Bowl XXXVI to give Brady and Bill Belichick their first Super Bowl title, and he did it again against the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl XXXVIII to go down as maybe the most clutch kicker in NFL history. 

Vinatieri won a third and final Super Bowl with New England in 2004 and he joined the Indianapolis Colts for the 2006 season, where he immediately lifted the Lombardi with Manning after defeating the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI. 

The first-ever South Dakotan to make the Hall of Fame kicked until 2019, retiring at 47 years old. He currently holds the NFL records for made field goals (599) and points scored (2,673) and has appeared in the second-most games in league history (365).
