Happy 37th birthday to one-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl LII champion and MVP, Nick Foles!
Despite a career record of just 29-29 as a starter in 11 NFL seasons, Foles owns some of the most memorable moments in Philadelphia Eagles history. In his third start of the 2013 season in relief of Michael Vick, Foles tied an NFL record by throwing seven touchdowns in a single game against the Oakland Raiders.
Four seasons later, in relief of Carson Wentz in Super Bowl LII, he threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns while also catching a TD in the famous “Philly Special,” to help deliver the Eagles their first Super Bowl championship in franchise history.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Foles’ 2013 explosion is one of 33 occasions in the Super Bowl Era that a player has thrown at least six touchdowns in the same game. How many of those quarterbacks can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
