The Los Angeles Rams season couldn’t have gotten off to much worse of a start.
Reigning-MVP Matthew Stafford, who threw for 4,707 yards and 46 touchdowns last year, was just 15-of-25 for 155 yards and an interception, and they lost 27-7 to their division-rivals in the San Francisco 49ers and saw their biggest offseason acquisition Myles Garrett head to injured reserve after a dud debut.
Ahead of what looks like it could be a much more competitive "Monday Night Football" clash than originally anticipated against the New York Giants, Matthew Stafford and Co. are getting more bad news.
Wide receiver Puka Nacua – who accounted for 74 of Stafford’s 155 yards in Week 1 – is now questionable for Week 2 with a hip injury. With Stafford looking for a bounce-back performance, Nacua would be a massive absence against a defense that did a solid job of limiting the Dallas Cowboys duo of CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens in Week 1.
If the Rams are going to right the ship in primetime, they’re going to need Stafford to be Stafford regardless of who is available.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Stafford is currently sixth on the NFL’s all-time passing yards leaderboard with 64,671 through the early stages of his 18th professional season. With that being said, can you name every NFL quarterback to rack up at least 35,000 passing-yards?
Good luck!
