Happy 53rd birthday to seven-time Pro Bowler, three-time AP Offensive Player of the Year, 1994 AP Offensive Rookie of the Year and 2000 AP MVP and Pro Football Hall of Famer, Marshall Faulk!
Faulk was selected second-overall in the 1994 NFL Draft by the Colts out of San Diego State, and he played the Pro Bowl as a rookie in Indy with 1,282 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. That would be the first of seven 1,000-rushing-yard seasons that Faulk accumulated in his 12-year career and one of five times he’d rush for 10+ TDs.
Faulk joined the St. Louis Rams in 1998 and became an integral part of the “Best Show on Turf,” winning his only Super Bowl in 1999-2000 against the Titans and earning his only Most Valuable Player award in 2000-01.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. In his MVP campaign, Faulk rushed for 1,369 yards and an NFL-best 18 touchdowns on the ground while adding another 830 yards and eight TDs as a receiver. With that being said, how many of the NFL MVPs can you name in nine minutes?
Good luck!
