The 'NFL rookie 1K-receiving-yard seasons' quiz

Atlanta Falcons tight end is coming off of the most productive season of his career since his 1,000-receiving-yard campaign as a rookie. But with a new regime under head coach Kevin Stefanski taking over in Atlanta, the Falcons are taking their time in making a long-term decision on Pitts’ future.

Instead of a contract extension, the Falcons are placing the franchise tag on the 25 year old who posted career-highs in receptions (88) and touchdowns (five) with 928 yards.

NFL insider Ian Rappaport reported that the two sides would like to work out a long-term contract, and they have until July to make that happen for the 2026-27 season.
