It has been nine months since Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes tore his ACL in a Week 15 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Now, barring any unexpected setbacks ahead of their ‘Monday Night Football,’ clash against the Denver Broncos, he’ll be back under center according to head coach Andy Reid.
Mahomes and Kansas City are coming off of their worst season since he took over as the full-time starter, finishing just 6-10 and missing the postseason for the first time since 2014. But with the addition of Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III to their backfield and retaining the services of Travis Kelce for at least one more season, the Chiefs will hope to reclaim their AFC West crown from the Broncos.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Mahomes has finished atop the NFL in passing touchdowns twice so far in his career, with the highwater mark coming in 2018 when he tossed 50 in his first season as the Kansas City starter. With that being said, can you name the quarterbacks to throw the most touchdowns in each NFL season since 1970?
Good luck!
