The Dallas Cowboys got off to about as bad a start as a team can in their Week 12 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles, committing costly penalties and a turnover to end up in a 21-0 first-half hole.
But by the end of the game, the Cowboys tied a franchise record for the biggest comeback win in franchise history, and quarterback Dak Prescott passed Tony Romo as the all-time passing-yards leader in Dallas history. Prescott said that while he got a bit emotional when he passed Romo, the 21-point deficit didn’t let him savor the moment until after the game.
“Now I get to enjoy it a little bit,” he said.
“Initially when I looked up there and saw the stat, there was a little that hit me that I wasn’t ready for. And I think I countered that with the anger of ‘no, no, no, we’ll celebrate that later.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Prescott’s 354-yard effort put him 195 yards ahead of Romo’s previous record of 34,183, and he’s now just eight touchdowns behind Romo for that Dallas record as well. With that being said, can you name the quarterbacks with the most passing yards for each NFL franchise?
Good luck!
