The 'Rushing leaders by NFL team' quiz

Happy 66th birthday to three-time Pro Bowler, Super Bowl XXVI champion and the Atlanta Falcons all-time leading rusher, Gerald Riggs!

Riggs was selected with the ninth-overall pick of the 1982 NFL Draft out of Arizona State, and after serving a supplemental role in his first two seasons, broke out for his first 1,000-yard season in 1984. It would be the first of three-straight 1,000-yard campaigns with the Falcons, with Riggs leading the NFL with 397 carries for a career-best 1,719 yards in 1985.

Riggs played in Atlanta until 1988 before getting traded to Washington for the 1989 season, where he’d spend the final three years of his career. Riggs was able to ride off into the sunset as a Super Bowl champion, winning the Lombardi Trophy with legendary coach Joe Gibbs.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Riggs’ 6,631 rushing yards are still an Atlanta Falcons record, but could be in jeopardy if the Falcons hang onto Bijan Robinson long-term. With that being said, can you name the all-time leading rusher for each NFL franchise?

Good luck!
