Just a day after returning to Buffalo Bills practice from his "hold-in," running back James Cook and the Buffalo Bills agreed to a contract extension.
Cook, who was heading into the final season of his rookie deal with two consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons under his belt, agreed to a four-year, $48 million contract extension. The deal also comes with $30 million guaranteed for the nearly-26-year-old, the most given to an RB over the past five seasons, per ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg.
Both Cook and reigning MVP Josh Allen are tied to Buffalo for the next half-decade as they try to finally get back to the Super Bowl.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Cook rushed for 1,009 yards in 2024, and his 16 touchdowns are tied for the most in one season in Buffalo history. With that being said, can you name every NFL franchise’s single-season rushing touchdown record holder?
Good luck!
