The 'Single-season TD leaders by NFL team' quiz

The Detroit Lions responded from their 30-17 loss in Week 6 to the Kansas City Chiefs with a dominant 24-9 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on ‘Monday Night Football.’

The Lions got a heroic effort from a defense decimated by injuries, but on offense it was Detroit’s best players making the biggest plays. On their first drive, quarterback Jared Goff found wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown for a 27-yard catch and run touchdown. In the second quarter, running back Jahmyr Gibbs exploded through the line of scrimmage and past the Buccaneers secondary for a 78-yard touchdown, before setting himself up for a five-yard touchdown rush in the fourth quarter by taking a screen 28 yards.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said he could feel this performance coming from his third-year back out of Alabama.

“You feel like this has been coming, as he’s gotten in better shape and his feet under him,” said Campbell after the win.

“Every week, you feel like it’s gotten closer. Monday night was the night he busted one, and there’ll be no looking back.”

Gibbs finished the night with 136 rushing yards and 218 total from scrimmage to go with his two touchdowns to help the Lions reach 5-2.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Gibbs is coming off of a season in which he set a Lions franchise record with 20 total touchdowns in 2024-25. With that being said, can you name every player with the most non-passing touchdowns in a season for each NFL franchise?

Good luck!
