The 'Super Bowl MVPs' quiz

The last time running back Kenneth Walker III was on the football field for a game that mattered, he ended it by hoisting both the Lombardi and Super Bowl MVP trophies. Tonight, he gets the second chapter of his NFL career started as he makes his debut for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Denver Broncos on ‘Monday Night Football.’

The Chiefs are looking to rebound from the first losing season of the Patrick Mahomes Era and will hope the addition of Walker will help revive a ground attack that hasn’t had a 1,000-yard rusher since Kareem Hunt in 2017. 

Walker is entering his fifth NFL season, but despite racking up 3,555 yards and 29 touchdowns in his first four regular seasons and rumbling for 135 yards against New England in the Super Bowl, wasn’t retained by the Seattle Seahawks once he hit free agency. With Mahomes making his return from an ACL injury late last season and taking on what should be a stout Denver defense, the Chiefs could lean on Walker early in his K.C. debut.
