The 'Yearly yards-per-reception leaders' quiz

Happy 26th birthday to Indianapolis Colts freshly-paid wide receiver, Alec Pierce!

Pierce is entering his fifth season in the NFL and with the Colts and is coming off of the best season of his career. After establishing himself as a deep-ball threat in his first two seasons, combining for just 73 catches but posting 14.5 and 16.1 yards-per-reception in those campaigns.

In both 2024 and 2025 he led the NFL in yards-per-reception while cracking the 1,000-receiving-yard milestone for the first time in his career. The Colts rewarded the former second-round NFL Draft pick with a four-year, $114 million contract at the start of free agency this offseason.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the players to lead the NFL in yards-per-reception each season since 2000 can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
