It's Super Bowl Sunday in New Orleans, Louisiana and while the New Orleans Saints may not be playing, the crowd noise suggests that Super Bowl 59 will feel like a home game for one particular team.
Taking to X a short while ago, CBS NFL insider Jonathan Jones observed that the crowd is still filing into the Superdome with two hours until kickoff. However, even at less than 50-percent capacity it appears to be "overwhelmingly" favoring the Philadelphia Eagles. Jones noted that the Chiefs were noticeable booed when their team came onto the field for warm-ups.
"Superdome is at < 50% capacity at this point but it is overwhelmingly Eagles based on the boos the Chiefs got as they ran onto the field," Jones wrote on X.

That bodes extremely well for the Eagles as the Kansas City Chiefs have often relied on the crowd noise at Arrowhead Stadium to give them that little extra boost during games.
There's a lot of other small factors that appear to be favoring the Eagles now, such as their reported advantage when playing on turf - which the Superdome has - rather than on the grass that the Chiefs play on.
The Eagles have an historic running back in play with Saquon Barkley coming off a year with over 2,000 rushing yards and Offensive Player of the Year honors. He only needs around 30 rushing yards to achieve the most yards by a running back over a single NFL campaign in history.
And the last running back with over 2,000 yards to make a Super Bowl was Terrell Davis in 1998 - who helped lead the Denver Broncos to their second-straight Lombardi.
Every metric seems to be pointing in the Eagles' favor right now, ranging from the offense to the defense to the spread that seems to be shrinking by the hour. What was once a pretty clear path to victory for the Chiefs is getting quite murky.
But so long as the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes, there's truly no telling how a game is going to go.
Super Bowl 59 begins at 6:30 p.m. ET and will air on Fox.
